India has always stimulated the very senses of the traveler, with visitors to the country eager to explore and understand the many facets of this diverse and complex subcontinent. Horseback safaris, that take you off the beaten track to the interiors of a region, are assuredly one of the best ways to get an intimate experience of the colorful land and its people.
All our horseback safaris are well planned with emphasis on the smallest of details. Good reliable and loyal Marwari Horses with comfortable saddles are used for our Horseback safaris, escorted by our experienced Safari Guides, which take you to the interiors of Rural Rajasthan and introduce you briefly with the Centuries Old Cultures and Traditions of Rajasthan.
Our horses are well trained and experienced for all type of Safari Trails and most of them are familiar with the likes and dislikes of a common rider as well as our regular Horseback Safari routes. This specific breed of Marwari Horses is also known as Horses with a good sense of humor and loyal to their riders.
We have our own base camp located at Arawali Foothills, spread over 26 acres of land, where we train them in harsh conditions to beat the challenges occur during Safaris. A fleet of more than 25 Marwari Stallions is available to cater all type of FIT and Safari Groups. |

Day 01 : Arrive Delhi/ Mumbai.
Upon arrival in Delhi/ Mumbai, you will be met by our representative and transferred to hotel. Overnight at hotel.
Day 02 : Delhi/ Mumbai – Udaipur by Air.
Morning transfer to airport for your flight to Udaipur. Upon arrival in Udaipur, the guests will be personally received by us and transferred to the hotel. After a break, get fresh and be ready, preferably it is a welcome night for you. Your Horseback Safari Experience begins from here. Meet with our Horseback Safari Experts and take essential briefings about the route and Horse Safari gears. In evening enjoy a sumptuous dinner with barbeque and wines accompanied by local folk dance and bonfire. Overnight at Udaipur (Hotel Shikarbadi/ Shilpi Resort) .
Day 03 : Udaipur Local Trip through Cab.
After breakfast, proceed for morning city tour of Udaipur. One of India's most romantic cities and famed for its lovely palaces and lakes. Begin by visiting the City Palace and wandering through its beautiful rooms and apartments overlooking to Lake Pichola, Vintage Car’s Museam “House to more than 18 Cars, on display”, Crystal Gallery, Jagdish Temple, Garden of Maidens "Sahelion-ki-bari”, en-route lunch, than visit Sajjangarh Fort “A hilltop bastion, built in 17th century by ruler of Mewar Dynasty” surrounded by and Nature Park. Overnight at hotel.
Day 04 : Udaipur – Kumbhalgarh By Road.
After breakfast you will be transferred to Kumbhalgarh (110 kms). Upon arrival check in at hotel. Kumbhalgarh Fort was an ancient capital of Mewar Dynasty, which was restored in 14th century by Rana Kumbha “Grand Father of Maharana Pratap”, earlier it was a small bastion under the ruler-ship of Mauryan Empire ruled by Great King Ashoka and His Secret Society 3rd Century BCE. (alt 1,087 m) was the second most important fort of the Mewar Kingdom after Chittaurgarh. Built mostly by Maharana Kumbha (1485), it is situated on a west facing ridge of the Arawali Mountain Range, commanding a great strategic position on the border between the Rajput Kingdoms of Udaipur (Mewar) and Jodhpur (Marwar). It gives superb views over the lower land to the North-West, standing over 200m above the pass leading via Ghanerao towards Udaipur. In evening we will take you on the Horseback to have a date with this medieval fort. Overnight at hotel. ( Hotel Aodhi/ Club Mahindra Kumbhalgarh Fort ).
Day 05 : Kumbhalgarh-Ranakpur (18 Kms.) on Horseback.
After breakfast, at 06:00 AM, we will start our Horseback Voyage to Pushkar via Ranakpur. We will pass-on through dense forest of Kumbhalgarh Wild Life Sanctuary, which is home to many wild life creatures, such as Hyena, Jackal, Bear, Wild Boar, Pythons, Wild Rabbits, Eagles, Owls and Leopards. Lunch en-route at Thandi Beri Dam “Reservoir in the Forest”. Arrive at Ranakpur and check-in to the hotel. In evening we will take you for a short ride of 2 kms., to show you Ranakpur Jain Temple, stand upon 1444 carved pillars, made of white marble, surprisingly none match others. Back to the hotel. Dinner with Barbeque and Folk Dances. Overnight at hotel. (Hotel Maharani Bagh Orchard Retreat/ Fatehgarh/ Kings Abode).
Day 06 : Ranakpur–Ghanerao. (28 Kms.) on Horseback.
After breakfast, mount on your stallions and proceed for Ghanerao. En-route visit medieval villages of Godwar “Foothill” region. Interact with local Rebari Tribes. Reach Ghanerao, Ghanerao Castle is a 17th century medieval Castle, which is now converted into a comfort category Heritage Hotel. Managed by the noble family of Rathore clan. In evening take a trip on the Horseback to the medieval village of Ghanerao, meet with Cobblers and Local Craftsmen. Buy something if you like it. Dinner with barbeque and live performance of folk songs with traditional musical instruments. Overnight at Ghanerao Royal Castle/ Bagha Ka Bagh Heritage Jungle Lodge.
Day 07 : Ghanerao- Narlai (22 Kms.) on Horseback.
After breakfast ride on the Horseback and head through the bushy terrain on the foot of the Arawali Hills. Passing by colorful villages and seeing Rebaris “Shepherds” escorting their sheep to the grasslands. Women filling waters from the wells. Arrive at Narlai. Narlai is a small medieval town. We will check-in to a Small Heritage Hotel, home to the erstwhile noble family. Beautifully restored and provided with all modern amenities. In evening, we will take you for a short ride of 15 minutes to our Stud Farms to make a date with 3 generations old Marwari Stud Breeding and Training Centres. Horses will also get a break to be at their home. Later, enjoy dinner with live folk songs and dance performance accompanied by barbeque and bonfire. After dinner transfer to the hotel. Overnight at the Heritage Rawla Narlai Hotel.
Day 08 : Narlai- Aauwa (35 Kms.) on Horseback (Alternate Stay at Jojawar).
After breakfast, mount on the Horseback, today we ride through dry plans of Marwar Region, passing through some very picturesque Rebari villages, which gives us a chance to peep into the hard rural life of the desert. We stop over for lunch at half way. After lunch and a bit of rest, we head towards Auwa Fort. Arrive and check in to the 16th century Fort, now converted into a comfortable Heritage Hotel. Dinner with barbeque and folk dances. Overnight at Aauwa Fort.
Day 09 : Aauwa- Pipallia Kalan (30 Kms.) on Horseback.
After breakfast, mount on the Horseback, we head towards Pipallia Kalan. A small medieval village located at the plain of Marwar Region. Here one can purchase colorful fabric and beautifully embroidered half-cut leather shoes “called Mojaris in local language” made by local Cobblers, take one or two pieces to gift it to your loved ones as a souvenir taken from Rajasthan during your Horseback Trip. Dinner with bonfire and barbeque at the Horseback Safari Camp. Overnight at the Camp.
Day 10 : Pipallia Kalan – Nimaj (35 Kms.) on Horseback.
After breakfast, mount on the Horseback to ride along the safari track. As we move closer to Nimaj the terrain changes from sandy to fertile agriculture land. Arrive at Nimaj , which is a village inhabited by servi’s (a farming community). Dinner with barbeque accompanied by folk dance performance. Overnight at the Heritage Nimaj Fort/ camp.
Day 11 : Nimaj – Ras Fort (37 Kms.) on Horseback.
After breakfast, we will move out from Nimaj and head towards Ras Fort, the surroundings are dry and sandy but the small tribal settlements and the villages make it an interesting track. Lunch en-route. We reach at Ras Fort before The Sun sets. Warm welcome upon arrival, check-in to the Fort. Overnight at Ras Fort/ camp.
Day 12 : Ras Fort- Govindgarh ( 25 Kms.)
After breakfast, we will vacate the Fort and head towards a small village Govindgarh, which is just a midway stay for us on the way to Pushkar. Arrive and check-in to Horseback Safari Camp. Govindgarh is a pretty small village. There is nothing much to do around, so we will make our-self comfortable at the Camp Site. In evening, dinner with live folk songs and wines. Overnight at the Camp.
Day 13 : Govindgarh – Pushkar (25 Kms.) on Horseback.
After breakfast, we mount on the Horseback and leave for Pushkar, all the way passing through colorful villages of Thar desert. Thar is said to be the most colorful desert in the world. Area around Pushkar is known for Rose cultivation and Horticulture. Lunch en-route. Galloping through the dunes we enter the valley of Pushkar (king of all Pilgrims) our last destination on Horseback. Here we check-in to the Desert Camp. Dinner at the Sands of Pushkar, live and soft, melodious music will keep you rejuvenating during the dinner. Here we will set-off our Stallions. Overnight at the Camp.
Day 14 : Explore a Day at Pushkar Fair by Walk or Camel.
After Breakfast, take a walk around the fair ground. Interact with tribal populations, visit colorful markets, shopping around the fair, buy local stuffs like carved shoes, ladies and gents toppers, traditional ornaments etc. Visit Pushkar Lake and surrounding temples, meet the saints and sagas of India. Came back to the camp with happy memories. Overnight at the camp.
Day 15 : Departure Day by Air !!
After breakfast, departure drop to Jaipur to board on to your onwards Flight to Delhi/ Mumbai.

Day 01: Pushkar-Jaipur.
Morning drive to Jaipur (140 kms) and check into the Heritage Alsisar Haveli/ Country Inn and Suites by Carlson or similar hotel. After lunch we will take you for city trip of Jaipur. Formerly known as "The Pink City" due to maximum use of Pink Stone on it’s architectural buildings. Surrounded by rugged hills, dotted with ancient ruined fortresses. Visit imposing City Palace and Museam, still home to the Maharaja although several of the rooms are now open to the public. Opt an Elephant ride at the fort. Many antiques and artefacts belonging to the ruling family are housed here, including a collection of weaponry. Later visit Hawa Mahal "Palace of the Winds", and the open-air Jantar Mantar Observatory to see the vast non-mechanical astronomical instruments. Enjoy a stroll through the colorful bazaar “Street Side Markets”. Return to the hotel. Overnight at Heritage Alsisar Haveli/ Country Inn and Suites by Carlson or similar.
Day 02 : Jaipur Local Trip.
After breakfast, we will take you to the impressive Amber Fort, situated on a ridge just outside Jaipur City. At the foot of the hill you will mount your caparisoned elephant for the slow but steady climb up to the main gate, making your entrance in the time honored fashion. The Fort, completed in the early 18th century, took over 100 years to build and now, although deserted, offers a fascinating insight into the lifestyle of the Moghul ruling families. Afternoon at leisure for own activities. Overnight at hotel.
Day 03 : Jaipur – Fatehpur Sikri – Agra.
Morning drive to Agra (260 Kms) enroute visit Fatehpur Sikri. Fatehpur Sikri - the deserted, red sandstone city was built by Emperor Akbar as his capital and palace in the 16th century. Also visit the Bulund Darwaza the largest gateway in the world. Thereafter continue drive to Agra and upon arrival, check-in at hotel Mansingh/ Clarks Shiraj. Afternoon visit the Taj Mahal -.This most famous Moghul monument was constructed by Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his wife Mumtaz Mahal "the lady of the Taj". It has been described as the most extravagant monument ever built for love, for the emperor was heartbroken when Mumtaz died after 17 years of marriage, during the birth of her 14th child. (Taj Mahal remains close on Fridays). History reveals that Emperor Shah Jahan got this idea to Built a Most Fascinating building for his wife, when he was spending his periods of exile in Jagmandir Palace at Udaipur due to his revolt with his father. He was given shelter by the Maharanas of Udaipur and in exchange he gifted his Turban to the than Maharana of Mewar as a honor to his friendship, which is still kept in City Palace Museam of Udaipur. Later when he became Emperor, he invited many architect and finally this design was approved. It is said that it was supposed to built by Black Stones but the than Maharaja of Jaipur has insisted him to built it in White Marble Stones of Makrana. He also offered him a land from his territory on the bank of Yamuna river, where this monument presently stands. After visiting Taj Mahal, come back to the Hotel “We will try, if we can obtained a Taj Facing room for you in the hotel, so that it can become a memorable break for you”. Day 04 : Agra – Delhi – Onward journey.
Morning visit the Red Fort - lies on the bend of the river Yamuna, almost in the heart of the town. It was built by Akbar as his citadel over the years 1563-73 in the finest architectural style. It has imposing gates and walls of red sandstone and a moat. Thereafter drive to Delhi (203 kms). Upon arrival in Delhi – transfer to the International airport to board your flight for onward journey.

Kumbhalgarh :: A 600 years old Majestic Fort located at an alt. Of 3200 feet above see level with 2nd largest fort wall in Asia, total 32 kms. in diameter. Wild Life Habitat.
Ghanerao :: A small medieval town located at Arawali Foothills. A 400 years old small castle, now converted into a Comfort Heritage Hotel by the noble chieftain family, lies under Kumbhalgarh Sanctuary Region .
Narlai :: A small medieval town located at Arawali Foothills. A 300 years old huge ancestral home, now converted into a Comfort Heritage Hotel by the noble chieftain family.
Jojawar :: A small medieval town located at Arawali Foothills. A 250 years old huge ancestral home, now converted into a Comfort Heritage Hotel by the noble chieftain family, lies under Goramghat Sanctuary Region. Day 01 : Arrive Delhi/ Mumbai.
Upon arrival in Delhi/ Mumbai, you will be met by our representative and transferred to hotel. Overnight at hotel (Hotel Jaypee Palace/ Jaypee Residency or Similar) .
Day 02 : Delhi/ Mumbai – Udaipur by Air.
Morning transfer to airport for your flight to Udaipur. Upon arrival in Udaipur, the guests will be personally received by us and transferred to the hotel. After a break, get fresh and be ready, preferably it is a welcome night for you. Your Horseback Safari Experience begins from here. Meet with our Safari Experts and take essential briefings about the route and Horse Safari gears. In evening enjoy a sumptuous dinner with barbeque and wines accompanied by local folk dance and bonfire (Hotel Shikarbadi). Overnight at Udaipur.
Day 03 : Udaipur Local- Shri Eklingji by Road.
After breakfast, proceed for morning city tour of Udaipur. One of India's most romantic cities and famed for its lovely palaces and lakes. Begin by visiting the City Palace and wandering through its beautiful rooms and apartments overlooking to Lake Pichola, Vintage Car’s Museam “House to more than 18 Cars, on display”, Crystal Gallery, Jagdish Temple, Garden of Maidens "Sahelion-ki-bari”, en-route lunch, than visit Sajjangarh Fort “A hilltop bastion, built in 17th century by ruler of Mewar Dynasty” surrounded by and Nature Park. After completion of the City Tour, we will drive to Shri Eklingji, a heavenly destination of The Lord, where we will meet with our Stallions and our Horseback Safari will begin. Dinner with barbeque. ( Hotel Heritage Resort). Overnight at hotel.
Day 04 : Shri Eklingji- Gogunda Rawla via Haldighati on Horseback ( 38 Kms.)
After breakfast, we will mount on our horses to head towards the 2rd Largest Plateau of India “Gogunda”. One of the most renowned place in Mewar’s History, where Legendry Warrior and Freedom Lover Maharana Pratap was coroneted to the Throne as The King of Mewar in the presence of brave chieftains, representatives and the peoples of Mewar. En-route visit main Battle Site of Haldighati, later proceed to Gogunda Rawla. Upon arrival, we will greet and meet by the staffs of Heritage Gogunda Rawla. In evening we will take a small Horseback ride to medieval town and the coronation site. Dinner with live folk songs, barbeque and wines at Gogunda Rawla. Overnight at Gogunda Rawla.
Day 05 : Gogunda – Kumbhalgarh on Horseback (50 Kms.)
After breakfast, we will mount on our horses and head towards Kumbhalgarh Fort. En-route, experience beautiful landscaper paddy farm fields beneath Arawali Mountains and rejuvenating village cultures of Mewar. Lunch en-route, after lunch we will reach at Bhanpura Rawla, after a tea break, later we will proceed to Kumbhalgarh. Upon arrival check in at hotel. Kumbhalgarh Fort was an ancient capital of Mewar Dynasty, which was restored in 14th century by Rana Kumbha “Grand Father of Maharana Pratap”, earlier it was a small bastion under the ruler-ship of Mauryan Empire ruled by Great King Ashoka and His Secret Society 3rd Century BCE, located at an alt. of 1,087 meter, was the second most important fort of the Mewar Kingdom after Chittaurgarh. Built mostly by Maharana Kumbha (1485), it is situated on a west facing ridge of the Arawali Mountain Range, commanding a great strategic position on the border between the Rajput Kingdoms of Udaipur (Mewar) and Jodhpur (Marwar). It gives superb views over the lower land to the North-West, standing over 200m above the pass leading via Ghanerao towards Udaipur. In evening we will take you on the horseback to have a date with this medieval fort ( Hotel Aodhi/ Club Mahindra Kumbhalgarh Fort ). Overnight at hotel
Day 06 : Kumbhalgarh-Ranakpur on Horseback (18 Kms.)
After breakfast, at 06:00 AM, we will start our horseback Voyage to Pushkar via Ranakpur. We will pass-on through dense forest of Kumbhalgarh Wild Life Sanctuary, which is home to many wild life creatures, such as Hyena, Jackal, Bear, Wild Boar, Pythons, Wild Rabbits, Eagles, Owls and Leopards. Lunch en-route at Thandi Beri Dam “Reservoir in the Forest”. Arrive at Ranakpur and check-in to the hotel. In evening take you for a short ride of 2 kms., to show you Ranakpur Jain Temple, stand upon 1444 carved pillars, made of white marble, surprisingly none matches others. Back to the hotel. Dinner with Barbeque and Folk Dances (Hotel Maharani Bagh Orchard Retreat/ Fatehbagh). Overnight at hotel.
Day 07 : Ranakpur–Ghanerao. on Horseback (28 Kms.)
After breakfast, mount on your stallions and proceed for Ghanerao. En-route visit medieval villages of Godwar “Foothill” region. Interact with local Rebari Tribes. Reach Ghanerao, Ghanerao Castle is a 17th century medieval Castle, which is now converted into a comfort category Heritage Hotel. Managed by the noble family of Rathore clan. In evening take a trip on the horseback to the medieval village of Ghanerao, meet with Cobblers and Local Craftsmen. Buy something if you like it. Dinner with barbeque and live performance of folk songs with traditional musical instruments. (Hotel Ghanerao Royal Castle/ Bagha Ka Bagh Heritage Jungle Lodge). Overnight at hotel.
Day 08 : Ghanerao- Narlai on Horseback (22 Kms.)
After breakfast ride through the bushy terrain on the foot of the Arawali Hills. Passing by colorful villages and seeing Rebaris “Shepherds” escorting their sheep to the grasslands. Women filling waters from the wells. Arrive at Narlai. Narlai is a small medieval town. We will check-in to a Small Heritage Hotel, home to the erstwhile noble family. Beautifully restored and provided with all modern amenities. In evening, we will take you for a short ride of 30 minutes to our Chak Sujapura Stud Farm to make a date with 3 generations old Stud Breeding and Training Centre. Horses will also get a break to be at their home. Later, enjoy dinner with live folk songs and dance performance accompanied by barbeque and bonfire. After dinner transfer to the hotel (Rawla Narlai). Overnight at the Hotel. Here we will break our Safari and leave our Stallions.
Day 09 : Narlai- Lawa Srdargarh Fort by Road ( 2 Hrs. Drive )
After breakfast, we will take a drive through Mountain Pass of Desuri to head towards Lawa Sardargarh Fort. A massive Fort Hotel located on the hill. Lawa “Means Molten Ore” is one of the Important Citadel which has played a major role in the History of Mewar. Upon arrival we will meet and greet by the Royal Family of The Fort. In evening we will have a walk to the nearby village of Lawa Sardargarh. Before Sun-Set we will get back to the Fort to enjoy our Farewell Dinner viewing Sun-Set at Lawa Sardargarh Fort. Overnight at Lawa Sardargarh Fort.
Day 10 : Departure Drop to Udaipur Airport by Road ( 2 hrs. Drive)
After breakfast, we will see off you at the Maharana Pratap Airport, to board your onward flight for Delhi/ Mumbai.
